US Hispanic Small Business Development Center (USHSBDC) offers group mentoring programs as a foundation for our training. These programs provide mentees with the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors and from each other.
Group mentoring is a process in which small groups of people commit to supporting and collectively pursuing each other’s learning objectives. The group has a learning facilitator who takes on the role of the group’s mentor, but at the same time, each group member is considered a mentor to the others.
Group mentoring is a trend that aligns with the current needs of individuals and organizations, especially during times of change. It is a way to leverage the mentor’s experience and knowledge, as well as the exchange of ideas and feedback received from the other group members. Group Mentoring Programs for 2023 and 2024
We offer three main areas of group mentoring for 2023 and 2024:
- Group Mentoring for Management: This program is designed for entrepreneurs and business owners looking to strengthen their leadership and management skills. Participants will learn about strategic decision-making, effective team development, and resource management. In addition to the learnings, participants will also get to know other small business owners who are facing similar challenges and learn from their experiences.
- Group Mentoring for Sales: Aimed at sales professionals who want to enhance their sales skills and techniques. It includes modules on prospecting, customer relationship development, and successful sales closure. Participants will also get to network with other sales professionals and learn from each other’s best practices.
- Group Mentoring for Production Process Optimization: This program focuses on helping small business owners improve production efficiency and reduce costs. Participants will learn about inventory management, production processes, and effective inventory management. They will also get to share their experiences with other small business owners and learn from each other’s successes and failures.
Our group mentoring programs are designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to succeed in their businesses. Through these programs, participants will gain access to a network of experienced mentors who can provide personalized guidance and advice.
